Astaroth Glitch

Choose practice mode and select Taki. Then select Astaroth as your opponent. Perform any grab on Astaroth and in the middle of the action press start. Then select ”Start Replay”. After a few seconds into the replay press start again. Astaroth will then be performing various funny moves and poses.

Astaroth Glitch 2

Choose practice mode and select Voldo. Then select Astaroth as your opponent. Perform any grab on Astaroth and in the middle of the action press start. Then select ”Start Replay”. After a few seconds into the replay press start again. Astaroth will then be performing various funny moves and poses.

Kilik Glitch

Choose practice mode and select Cervantes. Select Kilik as your opponent. Perform any throw on Kilik and press start before the move is finished. Then select ”Start Replay”. While viewing the replay press start again. When you return to the fight Kilik will be hovering in the air, falling, and making funny poses. Different throws that you make on him to make this glitch work will make Kilik do different things.

Rock Glitch

Go to ”Practice Mode” and select Cervantes. Then select Rock as your opponent. Do any throw move on Rock and press start in the middle of the action. Then select ”Start Replay”. During the replay press start again and rock will be making poses and high jumps.

Voldo Glitch

Go to ”Practice Mode” and select Cevantes with Voldo as your opponent. Do any throw move on Voldo and before the move gets completed press the start button. Then select ”Start Replay”. During the replay press start again and when you return to the fight Voldo will be flying through the air!

Voldo Glitch 2

Go to ”Practice Mode” and select Astaroth with Voldo as your opponent. Do any throw move on Voldo and before the move gets completed press the start button. Then select ”Start Replay”. During the replay press start again and when you return to the fight Voldo will be doing various funny poses!

Achievemets

The following are all the achievements that can be unlocked in the game. They total to 200 points total.

Close Call (15)	Defeat an opponent under adverse conditions.

Edge Master (30)	Beat Arcade Mode with all characters.
Guardian (15)	Perform 25 consecutive bursts with Freestyle set to Guard Impact in Practice Mode.
Noble Soul (25)	Beat the game in Ultra Hard without losing a round.
Ring Out (15)	Finish Time Attack Mode with all Ring Outs.
Summon Suffering (20)	Perform the move Summon Suffering with Ivy.
Warrior (10)	Complete Arcade Mode.
Zen Warrior (10)	Play 3 characters in any Mode.

Metallic Characters	Begin game play missin battle mode until “Metal Mode” is unlocked. Then hold R while selecting a character

Metallic Characters

While at the Character Select Screen, hold down the Right Trigger and choose any character by pressing A, and your character should look Metallic when the battle begins

Control The Camera During A Replay

During a replay you can move the analogue stick to move the camera and press X and Y buttons to zoom in or out. The B button can be pressed to change the camera from focusing on one fighter to the other.

Fight as Unknown Soul

Hold R when selecting your character to make them an Unknown Soul.

Play With The Keyboard

Plug the Dreamcast keyboard into the first controller port, and use that to control! Enter acts as the start button, the arrow keys move, and the Z/X/C/S1 buttons work like the four main buttons on the controller. A nice, cheap alternative for an arcade stick.

Secret Locations In Mission Battle Mode

You must complete all normal and extra missions before going to these locations.

1. Move your pointer around the area of Korea on the easternmost map until the mission confirmation tone sounds. The mission option should now be available.

2. Move to the westernmost map and move your pointer around Russia until the you hear the same sound as before. The mission option should now be available.

Sophitia’s (ahem!) Secret (JP Only)

On the selection screen, choose Sophitia and press one of the following buttons below. Hold it until you see Sophitia do her pre-battle pose. She will now have a new color of panties when she enters the battle.

X = Pink
Y = Blue
B = Black
R-Trigger = Yellow (Press the R trigger button after choosing her or you’ll activate metallic mode.)
L-Trigger = No effect
A = White(original color)

Use Different Costumes During Battle

On the character select screen press the Y button on any character to select their second costume. To select a third costume for a character go to the character select screen and hold the Y button and press A. Some characters do not have third costumes and you must unlock them in mission battle mode first before you can select them.

Weapon Select Feature

After unlocking picture 224, you can now use this feature. In Arcade/Versus mode, just press the L button to cycle weapons from 1p, 2p or Edgemaster versions. It’s now possible to use your alternate outfit weapons with your original outfit.
